“They are learning skills for a lifetime even if they don’t go into a building trade. It’s not just training in the classroom; they’re doing it firsthand and have to use their problem-solving skills along the way.”
–Marcus McGuire, AASD Instructor
“Students are also gaining a valuable insight into their community and understanding the financial difficulties in the housing market. They learn what has to be done to create affordable housing for people of all income levels and those with accessibility needs.”
–Debra Dillenberg, AHA Executive Director
Please consider donating to this important cause that provides great educational and community value and creates another much-needed affordable housing option for AHA’s waiting list of more than 1,200 local people who need assistance.
